Fashion Institute of Technology graduate with a BA in Fashion Design - Sportswear specialization and minors in French and Art History.
I first learned to sew from my grandma when I was very young, first just sewing buttons onto my doll’s dresses and later creating entire outfits for them. I always knew growing up that I wanted to make clothing. In my last year at FIT, I began to work with manipulating fabrics and creating my own textiles. For my senior thesis, I took inspiration from the organic shapes and lines found in caves and the idea of painting with the fabric, essentially creating wearable art. I plan on continuing this idea as I start my career in the fashion industry.
